With the current promotion, FoundersCard users will get membership in JetSmarter for three months, free of charge. It also includes the JetDeals, which means you can book a seat on a private empty-leg flight. This is a great deal because the membership normally costs $10, 000 per year.
Empty-leg flights are, nowadays, very common if it comes to private jets. Every time it is booked for a one-way journey, it needs to come back and it is very uneconomical to let it fly without any passengers. JetSmarter offers its members to take advantage of those empty seats.
The downside is, of course, the lack of flexibility, you have to go where the jet goes and the way back is on you as well, but it still seems cool to have a free seat in a private jet, doesn’t it?
