Where Creativity Meets Imagination

Guess what this is? It’s round, black, and lights in the dark. What’s more, it is water resistant, USB rechargeable, and durable. If nothing comes to your mind, LightMode from Vancouver – self-described as “two-wheel addicts dedicated to providing the motorcycle world with badass lighting products” – helps you solve the riddle. The team has created LightMode Kits – a device that not only looks stunning, but primarily increases safety for motorcyclists. Let’s see how it works.

LightMode Kits allow motorcycle riders to illuminate any helmet using battery-powered electroluminescent lights. Each kit contains all the necessary components to transform any boring helmet into something truly unique. The product is compatible with all kind of helmets: full-face, modular, half helmet, bicycle helmet, etc.

LightMode comes on the market with a new, improved, aerodynamic version of LightMode Kits, which let you customize your style. You can now match your helmet to your bike for that complete look. Furthermore, you no longer need annoying AA batteries. This device is USB rechargeable and includes a built-in battery. It also has smaller, stronger connectors and detachable controller.

Besides, the installation is really easy. It requires just four simple steps. First, use the string to create your design and replace it with EL wire. Secondly, stick the EL tape to your helmet (Electron S Kit only). Thirdly, glue down the EL wire. Finally, mount your LightMode controller and light it up!

LightMode comes in two types: Electron S Kit and the Proton S Kit. The key difference between them is that the Electron S Kit has one 3-meter EL wire and 50 cm of EL tape (strip). Both sets have a plenty of colors to choose: green, white, red, blue, for instance. You can install even TWO kits on one helmet for astonishing results! Your imaginationis the only limit.

Don’t hesitate and illuminate your helmet. LightMode is crowdfunding their campaign on Kickstarter. Feel free to support their project and purchase LightMode Kits: Electron S Kit or Proton S Kit for $119. There’s also free shipping within Canada and the USA.
