fashion tophop afterpay

Afterpay is an Australian startup that allows clients to pay for their shopping later than just after doing it. At first, the system was available only for online shopping, but now the payment service is also offered in physical stores. Australian buyers can make use of it in Topshop Topman Australia.

The “buy now, pay later” systems are the blockbusters of the market nowadays. Thanks to them, customers are able to manage their budget better and control how much money they spend during each period. They can also pay in fortnightly payments, which helps make the total price more bearable. Furthermore, the payment scheme is entirely up to the customer.

Launched last year, the system is now used by more than 600 retailers, such as General Pants, Optus, Jeanswest and, of course, Topshop Topman. The platform is getting more and more popular and many costumers use it regularly. One obvious advantage is the ability for the customer to try the product before paying for it. The downside, however, is that there’s no golden mean to protect people with shopaholic issues from overusing this platform (which – in fact – can result in some serious trouble, both for them and the retailers.)

All in all, this kind of platform seems to be a natural extension of online payments and digital currency. The “buy now, pay later” systems are attracting more and more attention from both retailers and customers.
